The following text aims to present sources about Youth Culture from Sergipe, which are safeguarded in the archives of three public schools in the state, The Centro de Excelência Atheneu Sergipense, the Instituto de Educação Rui Barbosa and the Colégio Estadual Murilo Braga. Drawing on theoretical and methodological contributions of the History of Education and engaging the dialogue of the concepts of Youth Culture (Pais, 2003), School Culture (Viñao Frago, 1995), Educational Legacy (Felgueiras, 2017), and Educational Heritage (Pizzigoni, 2022), the analyses presented here demonstrate how this collection allows the writing of alternative history of students and their protagonism. It discloses that students are shaped from what was taught and learned, by obedience, and transgression, order, and norms, the ways of living and thinking. That created a culture that dialogues and enforces itself in the social and political context, that formed and defined wh as a forged young culture.
