The book under review deals with the social, environmental and economic aspects of soybean cultivation, which has become an extractive monoculture in Argentine agriculture. Argentine agribusiness is not homogeneous, nor are the representations about the spraying of crops. There are rural communities that deny the harmful effects and others that are starting a grass root movement against the fumigation process. It shows a panorama of agribusiness, its tensions and contradictions
