Author Guidelines

Submissions:

Registration in the system and subsequent access, via login and password, are mandatory for submitting papers, as well as for following the ongoing editorial process. The access can be done through an existing account or by registering a new account.

Note: As of February 1, 2021, Revista Gestão Organizacional(RGO) has adopted new submission guidelines. Non-compliance with the guidelines described below will result in the rejection of submissions in the desk review process.

RGO does not charge any kind of fee or financial value for submission as well as for publication.

 

Guidelines for Submissions

  • Revista Gestão Organizacional (RGO) does not charge a fee for submission and publication of scientific productions.
  • Make your registration (login and password) at RGO's website.
  • Access the system using login and password, then choose the AUTHOR profile.
  • Enter "Click here to begin the submission process".
  • Follow the steps requested by the
  •  system and upload your MS Word file.
  • Once the submission is complete, the authors will be able to follow the evaluation process with their login and password.
  • All authors must be registered on the Journal's site and have their registration data updated, such as their degrees, institutional affiliation, graduate program to which they belong, complete address, e-mail and ORCID.
  • Authors with a master's or doctoral degree must be registered as reviewers.
  • RGO adopts the double blind review process for evaluating submissions.
  • Regardless of the type of submission (article, essay, teaching case or review), the maximum number of authors is 4 (four) and at least one of them must hold a doctoral degree.
  • Texts may be submitted in Portuguese, English or Spanish.
  • Submissions must be unpublished in Brazil or in another country, not being considered unpublished the preliminary version presented in annals of national and international scientific events. This condition should be mentioned in the metadata.
  • There is a limit of two publications per author per year, regardless of authorship position and type of publication.
  • The costs of text review or translation will be incurred by the authors, when requested.
  • The content and revision of texts is the responsibility of the authors.

The content of the submitted articles is the full and exclusive responsibility of the authors, and does not necessarily reflect the ideas, opinions and/or concepts of the Editors of the journal. The veracity of the information, authorship (list and order), accuracy, adequacy, provenance, and validity of the citations are also the full and exclusive responsibility of the authors. The authors are also aware that they will be civilly and criminally liable for any complaints regarding the content and disrespect for the privacy and publication policies, as well as in the event of plagiarism.

I am aware that, if approved, the article will be published online on RGO. I am also aware that I am authorized to enter into additional contracts separately for non-exclusive distribution of the version of the paper published in this journal (e.g., publication in an institutional repository or as a book chapter), with acknowledgment of authorship and initial publication in this journal.
