CALL FOR PROPOSALS – THEMATIC DOSSIERS FOR 2026

2025-10-31

Revista Pedagógica invites researchers to submit proposals for Thematic Dossiers that promote original and relevant reflections in the field of Education, especially concerning teacher education, within the scope of human development and social and cultural relations. Proposals should explore interfaces with curriculum, educational policies, history of education, pedagogical practices, school life, diversity, interculturality, and inclusive education, both in basic and higher education.

Each Dossier is expected to gather articles resulting from original research (literature reviews and/or empirical studies), aiming to foster reflections on the proposed theme and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the field.

This call will approve two proposals for Thematic Dossiers, both to be published in 2026 — one in July and the other in December. To enable the editorial team to evaluate the proposals, please submit the following documents:

  • cover Letter (sent by e-mail to: revistapedagogica@unochapeco.edu.br) with an attached Word document containing:
    - names of the organizers and their institutional affiliations (Department and/or Graduate Program and Institution);
    - proposed theme, indicating its objective, relevance, and contextualized justification;
    - a list of article titles that will compose the Dossier, each including a 250-word abstract, 3–5 keywords, and the author(s)’ name(s);
    - short curriculum vitae of the authors (up to three lines each), indicating academic degrees and institutional affiliations;
    - a timeline for the Dossier’s organization stages (in accordance with the deadlines stated in this call).
Requirements

The Dossier must include a minimum of 10 (ten) and a maximum of 12 (twelve) articles that strictly comply with Revista Pedagógica’s Guidelines for Authors, available on the journal’s website.

At least two (2) articles must be authored by professors/researchers affiliated with foreign universities and written in Spanish or English.

The organizers (2 or 3) must not belong to the same institution, and the article authors must also represent different institutions.

The organizers must indicate two reviewers for each article in the proposal, providing their names, institutional affiliations, and e-mail addresses for the journal’s contact.

Once the Dossier is approved, the acceptance and publication of the works will be subject to anonymous peer review and must comply with all the journal’s guidelines.
