Ethical procedures

These works must necessarily include the statement that the research protocol was approved by an institutional ethics committee (check Resolution 466/12, issued by the National Health Council, which deals with the Code of Ethics for Research involving Human Beings), and the CAAE number or approval opinion number must be included in the manuscript, under “Methods”, which will be checked on the website: http://plataformabrasil.saude.gov.br/login.jsf.

The subjects involved in the study have the right to privacy, which cannot be violated without informed consent. When using images, people/patients cannot be identified, unless the images are accompanied by specific written permission, allowing their use and dissemination. The use of blindfolds is not considered an adequate protection for anonymity.

Statements, opinions and concepts expressed in the articles are the responsibility of the authors.

All articles must be unpublished and cannot have been submitted for simultaneous evaluation in other journals.
