Abstract

Interorganizational cooperation structures are study objects that deserve special attention facing the current organizational dynamics. Thus, the objective of this theoretical essay is to propose a discussion about the influences of information exchanges and the learning interorganizacional process as the risk of opportunism and transaction costs associated to cooperative interorganizacional relationships. It was verify that there is a relationship between learning and information exchange and the reduction of transaction costs associated with relations of interorganizacional cooperation. It also was noted that these relations, based on relational contracts, that focus on a relational form aim to achieve competitive advantages market as well as conduct to a dilution and a reduction of transaction costs related to those existing transactions. It is proposed a suggestion of future studies as to map the spread of transaction costs and the risk of opportunism in organizations.
